FAQs
StoreProtect covers most household and business goods. If loss or damage occurs due to a cause within our reasonable control, we provide new-for-old replacement – meaning you receive the current retail cost of the item as new (subject to terms and conditions).
Yes. Some items, such as antiques, fine art, or linens, are subject to specific valuation rules since they cannot be easily replaced “as new.” Additionally, StoreProtect does not cover events beyond our reasonable control, such as major natural disasters (Acts of God), war, or extreme climate events.
This is the total cost it would take to replace all your stored items with brand-new equivalents today. It is vital to declare an accurate value; if the declared amount is lower than the actual replacement cost, any compensation will be proportionally reduced.
Without StoreProtect, our liability for loss or damage is strictly limited under the standard license agreement. We strongly recommend opting in for StoreProtect or ensuring you have adequate separate insurance cover in place.
You can select StoreProtect while booking your container or contact our team to add it to your account later. Simply provide your replacement-value declaration and agree to the associated fee to activate your protection.
